Description

You have signed up to play in the Enfield Schools’ Boccia League. This will run between October and December 2017. 

Boccia is a sport which is designed especially for physical impaired players i.e. with Cerebral Palsy, wheelchair users, frame users   although it is suitable for those with a hearing impairment,  VI, pupils on the autistic spectrum and those with specific learning needs who may be in your school.   

Squads of 5 SEND children (3 children on court at any one time and two substitutions per match.)

Courts should be as close to the correct size as possible 12.5m x 6m (approx. size of a badminton court)

Matches of 6 ends-each player receiving the jack ball.

Rules  inline with Boccia England. You can download a summary from the Resources section under Disability/parasports.

You will play either as a Home or Away fixture but organise your own venue/time/.

The league table will be published on ENFIELDPETEAM website and confirmation of the teams entering will be sent out in September.

The Home teacher sends in the results to me.

 

All matches  must be played by December 8th 2017
