Ready Set Ride Course: A fun and flexible learn to ride programme to help children stay active in the classroom, playground and at home 

HSBC UK Ready Set Ride is a simple learn to ride programme for children aged 18 months - eight years, created by British Cycling together with the Youth Sport Trust. All the games and activities in the programme can easily be delivered by teachers and staff at school to help develop physical well-being with all pupils. 

Schools are invited to send a member of staff to attend this free training and if the school then signs up to the programme, will receive free resources and access to the HSBC UK Ready Set Ride website and app for use in classroom and playground.

As well as developing a valuable life skill, the Ready Set Ride Programme helps towards children achieving the Chief Medical Office guidance of 60 minutes of daily physical activity and will help to tackle inactivity amongst young pupils.​
