The borough competition will be virtual and held via a Zoom call. Each team are logged in and we watch as they complete each of the four activities.
Details of these activities and video links will be sent back to you on registration. Every team is entered into the Panathlon virtual league and the winning primary SEND team of the Enfield competition and the winning special school team will go forward to represent Enfield at the respective Inter borough finals.
The winning team of the Enfield Competition will be sent the Winner’s trophy.
The Details
When? Enfield competitors join Paralympic Athlete Nathan Maguire (T54 wheelchair racer) via zoom on December 10th, 10am. The zoom link will be sent nearer the time.
Nathan will tell his story, start the competition, watch and cheer ( along with other Panathlon coaches and me!). Teams can meet and applaud each other, especially as they receive their participation medals. You will have already received them by post in readiness.
If you cannot hold the competitive activities on this date and time - you are welcome to do it at a time convenient before but you must have submitted your results before the 12th December
However, we do ask that your team join Nathan at 10am on the 10th Dec, to hear his story, watch others and receive their own well-earned applause.
What activities? A timed-based competition across 4 activities: Loopy basketball, Messi football. Direct Hit, Flip it.
How ? You set up your 4 activities in the classroom or hall, wherever you have the technology and space, join him on zoom so he can launch each activity and we can watch the teams have a go.
Who? Submit your best team of 6 scores Min 4-max 6 team
