“Dance Me a Story”

Enfield’s Schools’ Dance Festival 2015

March 23rd -26th Everyone likes a story: whether it’s on the pages of a book; read aloud or watched on screen. This year children told stories through dance. From Aesop’s Fables to well-love nursery tales; naughty Grannies stealing diamonds: Alice lost in Wonderland and all manner of   Characters came to life. Advenures unfolded and, of course, there was  always  a twist!

The festival was a  spectacle of enthusiasm, joy, excitement and high quality performance from pupils as young as 4 and as old as 19. Fifty-eight of Enfield’s Primary, Secondary and Special schools  entered and over 1200 pupils took part.
