Enfield School's Boccia Tournament Final

Hazelwood met Waverley's school team in the final of the Enfield schools' Boccia competition, at Enfield College today, July 1st. Waverley players, better known as "Willow Wollers", are all ramp players and have been practising hard. They deserve much credit because they all released the ball themselves and on many occasion managed to block Hazelwood's ball from scoring. The captain of Hazelwood team made some good tactical decisions in the last end that won them the match.  It was a thoroughly enjoyable match, played in the spirit of patience and respect. In keeping with the Paralympics all Sport Enablers went home with a medal too. Well done both schools. The score was 9-2 to Hazelwood.
