Borough Tag Rugby Festival

27 teams entered the Tag Rugby Tournament on Thursday 26th November at Enfield Ignatians RFC. 11 pitches were in operation with 250 children enjoying the quickfire games.

There were 4 groups of teams who played a round robin, with the winner of each group qualifying for the semi final. Well done to the children from Forty Hill, Merryhills, St Andrew's Enfield and St Edmund's for winning their groups. The final was contested by Merryhills and St Andrew's, with a close fought 7-6 victory going to Merryhills who will now go on to represent Enfield in the London Youth Games in March.

Thank you to Brian Davey and Enfield Ignatians for the use of their clubhouse and help with the event and thanks also to the 2 Saracens Referees who helped all afternoon.
